The Ghostray is passive life form belonging to the fauna category. The Ghostray spawns exclusively in the Lost River Tree Cove.

It produces a very loud, guttural noise.

Appearance

The Ghostray is very large, and possesses a body structure similar to that of real life manta rays. It's inner body resembles that of a Jellyray, however, it is entirely translucent, and emits a cyan bioluminescence. It has two glowing red organs behind the eyes, as well as another, non-bioluminescent, organ just above the base of the tail.

Behavior

The Ghostray is a docile creature, spending a majority of its time swimming aimlessly around in the Lost River Tree Cove.

  • It may also be related to the Rabbitray, although this link is rather weak.
  • There is a subspecies of the Ghostray called the Crimson Ray that is found in the Inactive Lava Zone.
  • The databank entry of the Crimson Ray suggests that their common ancestor was a carnivore.
  • Despite being added in the dangerous creatures update, the Ghostray is completely harmless.
