Spadefish

It's at home in the Grassy Plateaus.

It's small in size and has an average speed. Its attitude is mostly [[::Category:Attitude: Passive|passive]] with a small tendency to flee. Being active day and night the Spadefish appears to be cathemeral.

The Spadefish is [[::Category:Bioluminescent|bioluminescent ]]and thus very easy to spot at night. It is edible and does not give minus hydration if eaten raw, but hunters hoping for an easy meal should be aware of possible Sandshark attacks. Spadefish move fairly slow and are easily hunted without a Stasis Rifle.

When cooked it provides the highest food and H2O gain of any of the other cook-able fish.

Spadefish schools can first be found by heading toward the Aurora, where the closest Grassy Plateau biome can be found nearest to the Escape Pod.
