It is suggested to remove the items from the Gravsphere before picking up the sphere. If you are in the open ocean, currents may send your items 30 meters or more away if you pick up the Gravshere with the items still attached to the sphere.

The Gravsphere is a great item to use in early game for fishing. It does take up a 2x2 area in the player [http://subnautica.wikia.com/wiki/Storage inventory] and thus takes up valuable space when not fishing in the early part of the game. Later in the game (after constructing a [http://subnautica.wikia.com/wiki/Cyclops Cyclops]), the [http://subnautica.wikia.com/wiki/Stasis_Rifle#comm-2755 Stasis Rifle] is a much more effective way to go fishing. But, when used together make a deadly combo.

Usage

The Gravsphere takes up 2x2 item slots in the player's inventory. It attracts fish and any item dropped by the player. Items not harvested by the player, such as salt, quartz, and anything contained in harvesting nodes, will not be attracted to the Gravsphere. It is best to place it on the ocean floor. Do not place in open water, mainly because schools of fish will run off with the Gravsphere.

It is suggested to remove the objects caught by the Gravsphere before picking up the sphere. If you are in the open ocean, currents may send the objects 30 meters or more away if you pick up the Gravsphere with the objects still attached to the sphere.

However, using the Stasis Rifle is a way more effective way of hunting.
