Template:Edible FaunaThe Eyeye is a passive life form belonging to the fauna category. It is catchable and edible. It possesses moderate food properties, and does not reduce hydration when consumed, this makes it a decent food source when a player is away from his Fabricator and is unable to cook any food.
Eyeyes are very common and appear in many biomes, spawning in large numbers in the Jelly Shroom Caves.
Appearance
The Eyeye is minuscule in comparison with other common types of fish, like Peepers or Boomerangs, with a pale green body. It has no discernible mouth.
The Eyeye possesses a comparably huge, singular eye, taking up most of its front section. It has four translucent blue, bioluminescent fins, which are set in a cross pattern behind its eye.

Trivia
- Oddly, other small fish appear to "bully" the Eyeye, repeatedly swimming into it, causing it to spin out of control, the same is true for the Lava Eyeye.
- There is a subspecies of the Eyeye called the Lava Eyeye, residing in the Inactive Lava Zone.
