Many Supply Crates spawn on the remains of the ruptured front of the Aurora after it has exploded, or inside Wrecks found near the Aurora. Other Supply Crates spawn close to the Aurora. Some can be found in various rooms inside the Aurora, such as the Prawn Bay. Most of them spawn in the Radiation zone, though, which is inaccessible without a Radiation Suit. |
The Supply Crate does not have any item slots. Instead, activating it opens its lid, revealing a single item inside, which can be picked up. Once the item is taken, the Supply Crate will remain open and empty. Its lid can still be closed, however, but this does not affect anything. |
The supply crate supports 5x5 item slots, which is a total of 25 slots. It is very light-weight and can easily be pushed around in the water. One of the edges of the supply crate features an electronic display that reads "Container" on it. |

Currently, there are only two locations known to exist where these containers can be found. Both of them spawn near the engine part of the Colony Ship, one in an area littered with scrap metal, one close by in a small rift towards the North. |

At the moment, every action that lets the supply crate reinitialize like reloading the game, coming out the cyclops or reentering the visible range of the supply crate causes the supply crate to reset, causing it to fill with new random items. |

==Trivia== |
After Erly development build 15015 Mar-15 they added new supply crates. |
*The Supply Crate was renamed to the Vac-Pack at one point, and stayed like that for a long period of time until it was eventually renamed back to the Supply Crate. |
*The Supply Crate was once intended to have a locked variation, only accessible via Laser Cutter. This was repurposed for the sequel, Below Zero, called the Sealed Crate. |
This is in the radiation zone, so be sure to add NODAMAGE. |
There are 4 new located until the side of the mothership. |
You look up on the engine where it begin, and more backward to the ships back part. Here are some photos from the locations ; |

Trivia
- The Supply Crate was renamed to the Vac-Pack at one point, and stayed like that for a long period of time until it was eventually renamed back to the Supply Crate.
- The Supply Crate was once intended to have a locked variation, only accessible via Laser Cutter. This was repurposed for the sequel, Below Zero, called the Sealed Crate.
