Large Resource Deposits are large quantities of a single Raw Material. Unlike stone outcrops, the materials cannot be harvested by hand; instead they must be broken down using the Prawn Suit Drill Arm. Some deposits are embedded in walls.

Trivia

The Ruby and Diamond deposits were originally cut from Subnautica and were repurposed for Subnautica: Below Zero.
Copper Ore, Diamond, and Titanium deposits can be found as wall veins in addition to their spherical form.
Unlike the original Subnautica, Large Lead, Lithium, Magnetite, Nickel, Salt, and Uraninite Deposits do not make an appearance in Below Zero.
