Appearance

The Fevered Pepper Tree consists of three vine-like branches that grow upwards from the floor, splitting and intertwining as they grow upwards to form an upside-down bowl-shaped mesh supported by ice frozen to the structure. From the center of the bowl, several purple-pink Fevered Peppers hang down.

Use

The Fevered Pepper can be eaten. It provides water (+15), food (+15), and heat (+34). As time progresses, these fruits will rot. Fevered Pepper Trees can be grown in an Interior Growbed, Plant Pot, or an Exterior Growbed out of water.

The plant produces 1 Pepper every 5 minutes and is fully laden at 6 Peppers, meaning an empty tree requires 30 minutes to bare maximum fruit. A full harvest grants 204 Body Heat, 90 food and 90 water. At that rate of growth, 1 tree can easily stave off starvation and just barely sustain but never win against dehydration.
