Template:Infobox Biome The Inactive Lava Zone is an in-development cavernous Biome characterized by large, arching structures with a hardened lava texture.

It can be found at 1000 to 1300 meters down. At its center, a large structure called the Lava Castle can be found. Limestone chunks can be found in this biome.

The lava currently doesn't do any damage to the player.

One can teleport to this biome by typing "BIOME INACTIVELAVART" into the Console.

At the back of the Aurora, in the Deep Grand Reef there is an entrance into the Inactive Lava Zone.

A precursor Seabase will be implemented in the Inactive Lava Zone and in the Lava Castle.

Speculation

An artwork published by the developers suggests that the player may need an Exosuit to navigate the Inactive Lava Zone in the future. It is currently unknown if this would be due to heat or pressure.
