Sea Dragon Leviathan

Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Sea Dragon Leviathan, more commonly known as the Sea Dragon, is a colossal aggressive life form belonging to the fauna category. It is still under development and has yet been added into the official game, although it can now be spawned in Experimental Mode.

Appearance

The Sea Dragon Leviathan's body mostly resembles the Sea Emperor, albeit sightly smaller, slimmer in design, and is dark green in color, along with purple accents on its limbs and head. Most of its body parts are adorned or spotted with orange bioluminescent glows.

The head of the creature is stout and reptilian, possessing four glowing eyes with two for each side. The mouth contains sharp teeth visible even when the mouth is closed. The tip of the snout features short protrusions with glowing tips. It also has a second set of larger protrusions under its lower jaw.

Along the side of its body runs two long, dotted trails that emit bioluminescent glows. Its rear-side consists of seven tentacles ending with large tentacular clubs, with the largest being surrounded by the other smaller ones.

The Sea Dragon's forelimbs are long, having large webbed hands consisting of four fingers as well as a pair of extra digits behind the forearms, with sharp claws for each finger. There are two fin-like extension on its head as well as a single dorsal fin.

Behavior

The Sea Dragon Leviathan will use its arms to help it swim in the water. It will bite the player if they are in front of its mouth, and swat them if they are on either side of its front body, inflicting 60% damage. However, the swat does not harm the player, simply knocking them away.

If the player is in the Seamoth, the Sea Dragon Leviathan will grab the Seamoth in its mouth, doing 5% damage every second it is in. Alternatively, the Sea Dragon Leviathan grab the Seamoth with its hands, and shove it inside its mouth, regardless if the player is in or not.

If the Sea Dragon Leviathan grabs the player in its mouth, it will instantly proceed to shove the player inside, immediately killing them.

Future Plans

• The Sea Dragon Leviathan is expected to spawn in the Inactive Lava Zone once implemented.
• The Sea Dragon Leviathan will be capable of inhaling the player, breathing fire and shooting fireballs. It will also spawn outside of the playable area and under deep waters. The eggs for Sea Dragon Leviathans will be added in the future. Infant Sea Dragons will be able to act as a heat generator, and will also cook any fish inside the same aquarium.[1]

• While shown in the concept art to be considerably larger than the Sea Emperor, the Sea Dragon Leviathan will be implemented to be smaller than the latter in the future updates.
