Currently storage is mostly referred to as the player's inventory since there is no external storage yet. It is accessed and interacted with using the PDA.

The plans to add storage to the Escape Pod have been realized^[1]. Other types of craftable storage have also been mentioned, for example a storage container that floats in the water^[2].
