There are numerous Abandoned Seabases, mostly found in poor conditions.

Since these were not constructed by the player, their existence suggests they were built by other survivors of the Aurora at some point, or by survivors from a previous crash. One of the Abandoned Seabases on the Floater Island has a climbable ladder, but the bulkheads are rusted in place.

The player can find Paal Torgaljin's PDA inside one of the Abandoned Seabases on the Floater Island, on the Desk inside the Multipurpose Room.

It is recommended that the player has a Stasis Rifle, Propulsion Cannon, or a Repulsion Cannon on hand while exploring, as hostile Fauna are often found near the Abandoned Seabases.

Trivia

The abandoned logbooks from survivors can be found in the Abandoned Seabases.
According to a Trello post, Abandoned Seabases will be found everywhere except the Lost River and Inactive Lava Zone.
There are currently three seabases found on the Floater Island, two of which contain supply crates and two of which contain planters.
A large farm can be found far away from the other Seabases on the island, consisting of six planters total.
