Radio

The Communications Relay is an in-development item that is constructed with the Habitat Builder. It can also be found when starting the game, on the back side of the Lifepod.

Uses

Once finished building, the Communications Relay will send a message, albeit with no sound, that appears on the players screen. It will currently only do this three times, each with an "attempt" before the broadcast and says what attempt it is.

Speculation

In the future, it may be used to help the player to get rescued.
