Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Hoopfish is a passive life form belonging to the fauna category. Cooked Hoopfish has mediocre food properties.

Hoopfish are cathemeral and are easy to catch, as they do not retreat from the player and are easily recognized due to their bioluminescence.

Appearance

The Hoopfish has a slim build, featuring a dark violet colored body that gradually transitions into blue towards the head, which has a bright neon green color. It has two green eyes, a small dorsal fin and a caudal fin that wraps around the tail's hoop, emitting a faint purple glow.

The Hoopfish's most distinct feature is the bright green bioluminescent antennae extending from the top and bottom of its head and bends around its tail, forming a hoop.

There is a subspecies of the Hoopfish called Spinefish that mainly populates the Blood Kelp Zone.
