The LED Light is named Light stick in-game atm.

The LED Light is an experimental Placeable Item that provides light for its surroundings. Early animations for the LED Light can be found here.

If the Light stick is in the players hand it provides Light around the player without discharging the Battery. This way the Light stick can also be charged using the Swim Charge Fins.

The Light stick can also be placed on terrain. In this case the Light stick will provide light at that spot and discharges the Battery while doing so.
