It can also be found hanging in the south west Kelp Forest blocking small cave openings.
It is highly recommended not to touch/get close to the stingers, as they can severely harm or even kill the player with one strike.
There are two pieces to a Stinger attack. When the player first comes in contact with one, he/she will take a shocking 25-50 points damage. Then, over the next few seconds, the player will take an additional 15-25 points of damage.
