The Floodlight is a placeable item, which is constructed with the Habitat Builder, that emits light in one direction. It can be placed on the seafloor surrounding a Seabase, the top of the Moon Pool, but not inside of either.

To build the Floodlight you need to acquire its Blueprint by scanning one of two Floodlights in the Wreck.

The Floodlight consumes energy and once the indicator reaches 0%, the player can insert another battery in order to refill the Floodlight's energy.
