Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Blood Crawler is an aggressive life form mostly dwelling in the Blood Kelp Caves. It is a subspecies of the Cave Crawler.

It moves much faster than the Cave Crawler, so players have to be careful while exploring the area.

Appearance

The Blood Crawler has very long legs, covered with inward facing spikes, which gives off a more menacing look than its relative.

Most of its body are cyanish blue in color, while its legs are red tipped. It has a large, bioluminescent eye with red sclera and a blue pupil. It also has four smaller eyes towards it's front, which lack pupils. The Blood Crawler has two mandibles on the front of it's body, which are presumably used for feeding.

Behavior

The Blood Crawler moves in groups, typically patrolling the seabed in this area, and will attack the player if being approached. 

It is also capable of climbing onto the walls and ceilings of most surfaces, including Seabases, cave walls and the Cyclops

  • The Blood Crawler's legs do not count as part of the model, and will be unaffected by a stasis bubble.
  • Its design is most likely inspired by spider crabs.
