The Tree Mushroom Sample is a raw material that can be obtained from the Coral Trees in Mushroom Forests or Tree Leeches. The in-game description states that the Tree Mushroom Sample contains fungal enzymes.
The player can break off the Tree Mushroom Samplesby hitting them with the survival knife (one stroke) or collide into them with the Seamoth or Cyclops, causing them to break and slowly drift to the ground.
Farming
- The Tree Mushroom Sample can be obtained from all the Coral Trees in Mushroom Forests and from the Tree Leeches by using a survival knife.
- One mushroom caps will yield all from 2 - 14 Tree Mushroom Sample (depends on the size) and break off in 4 bits in one cut.
- Due to the abundance of Coral Trees in the Mushroom Forest, it is very easy to obtain large amounts of this resource.
