Template:Infobox item The Scanner is an in-development tool that is used to scan fragments, to be used as blueprints, and life forms. To acquire the blueprints of a particular object, you need to analyse the fragments for that object multiple times. The amount of times scanning is required varies based on the object. Each scan of one fragment takes approximately ten seconds.

In the future, the Scanner will be able to scan all fauna and most flora, among other things.[1]
