Ruby is a raw material found on the seabed of many Biomes or as a large resource deposit. Said deposits are especially plentiful at Koppa Mining Site. According to its description, it is used for heat and electricity conduction.

Appearance

Rubies appear as white rocks with four short, red mineral spikes jutting outward, giving them a generally realistic appearance. They have a small glow at night which makes them much easier to find.

Trivia

• The Large Ruby Deposit, along with many other deposit types, was cut from Subnautica. However, Large Ruby Deposits are found in the Koppa Mining Site.
• The entire game can be comfortably cleared with as few as 6 rubies. 3 for the Prawn suit Depth module, and 3 Synthetic fibers for the Dive suit, Prawn suit depth module, and *REDACTED*
