Upgrade Modules

Upgrades are different types of improvements to the Cyclops and Seamoth.

Most upgrades are crafted from materials and technologies using the fabricator. They are found on the menu point that says "Submarine".

Upgrades to the Cyclops can be placed in the Upgrade Console in the engine room of the Cyclops. Three types of upgrades available increase the Cyclops' crush depth while the Power Upgrade Module improves the Cyclops' power efficiency. The former three upgrade modules are crafted, while the latter one is found on board of the Aurora.

Upgrades to the Seamoth can be placed in a panel on the Seamoth's left side. Currently the only Seamoth upgrade increases crush depth. In the future there will be an upgrade that increases the Seamoth's power efficiency and one that allows the Seamoth to recharge its batteries in sunlight. ^{[Citation needed]}
