Precursor Scans are a reward system that encourages Robin to use her Scanner to scan various Almanac artifacts located around the world. The current placeholder system claims there to be a maximum of fifty scannable artifacts (though only about twenty actually appear in game). In the future, there will be fewer and more rare artifacts.[Citation needed] Some or all of the artifacts may be unique from one another.[1]
Rewards
Currently, only one reward is available for precursor scans. At 5/50 scans (10%) a Supply Drop will appear containing two Heating Gels, two Disinfected Waters, and two First Aid Kits. Reaching this number of scans will also reward the first Databank entry.
