-A '''Data Chip''' is an item that works the same as a [[Data Boxes|data box]]; picking it up will grant the player a [[Blueprints|blueprint]]. The only Data Chip currently available contains the [[Seatruck Depth Upgrade MK1]] blueprint; it is acquirable from a [[Supply Drop]] after repairing the radio tower and unlocking the [[Seatruck]]. Because of the Seatruck already granting you the upgrade's blueprint, the chip is redundant.
