Their original purposes remain unknown, however they contain various Architect body parts that can be used to fabricate a new vessel for Al-An.
Caches
The Arctic Spires Cache is located at the very end of a chasm in the Arctic Spires. Seemingly destroyed, its wrecked interior contains the head for the vessel.
The Crystal Caves Cache is located at the bottom of the Crystal Caves. This cache contains the power source for the vessel.
The Deep Lilypads Cave Cache is located at the very bottom of the Deep Lilypads Cave, the lowest point in the game. No body part can be found here, although its close proximity to Marguerit Maida's base suggests that she may have stolen it.
