Their original purposes remain unknown, however they contain various Almanac body parts that can be used to fabricate a new vessel for Al-An.

Caches

The Arctic Spires Cache is located at the very end of a chasm in the Arctic Spires. Seemingly destroyed, its wrecked interior contains the head for the vessel.

The Crystal Caves Cache is located at the center of the Crystal Caves. The most expansive of the three caches, a structure at the very bottom of it contains the power source for the vessel.

The Methane Ice Caves Cache is located at the very bottom of the Methane Ice Caves, the lowest point in the game. No body part can be found here, although its close proximity to Marguerit Maida's base suggests that she may have stolen it.
