Because there is little sunlight that reaches the area, there is no flora located here. Pengwings will occasionally swim under the ice shelves into the biome, though they don’t spawn here. The biome borders nine biomes: the Arctic Kelp Forests, Glacier, Thermal Spires, Arctic, Tree Spires, Shallow Twisty Bridges, Twisty Bridges, Purple Vents, and the Frozen River.

Description

The Sparse Arctic is a fairly bland biome with no real purpose yet. However, it has some Fauna that can only be found in the biome like the Titan Holefish and the Symbiote. The ground is sandy and the surface is covered with ice shelves.

The main threat of the biome is drowning as only small portions of the surface are not blocked with ice. Titan Holefish can be a solution, as they can supply oxygen.
