Supply Crates are containers left behind by Alterra during their operations on 4546B. They contain useful items that can be picked up by the player.
The Supply Crate does not have any item slots. Instead, activating it opens its lid, revealing a single item inside. Once the item is taken, the Supply Crate will remain open and empty. Its lid can still be closed, however, but this does not affect anything.
Sealed Supply Crates can be found in the Purple Vents, Crashed Ship and Snowfox Base. They need Laser Cutter to be opened.
Sea Monkeys can steal certain items out of opened supply crates.
