Welcome to the Subnautica Wiki

The Fan-Wiki about Subnautica, a game in developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment.

Subnautica is currently available as a Steam Early Access title and a limited Subnautica Special Edition.

It's currently in a stage before what you call ‘Alpha’ or ‘Beta’ – thus it's an opportunity to see the game being developed and contribute – however, it is not a finished or even highly-developed game yet.

What is Subnautica

Subnautica is an adventure game set on an alien oceanic world, a game of exploration and discovery. As a scientist who has crash landed on an alien world, you have the opportunity to learn about and affect the world around you.
