Tools

Tools are devices that are either crafted from Basic Materials or Advanced Materials by using the Fabricator or upgraded from other Tools using the Modification Station.

They are carried in the Inventory and can be equipped to the Toolbar.

Some of them can also consume Energy, like the Flashlight.

Some Tools can currently only be spawned using Debug Console Commands.

Nearly all Tools have first-use animations.

Repair Tool	Multi-purpose repair tool. Can be used in underwater and zero-pressure envorinments.	welder

Scanner	Spectroscopic tool used to acquire technology blueprints and data on living organisms and vehicles.	scanner
Stasis Rifle	Temporarily disrupts momentum to freeze objects in place.	stasisrifle
Survival Knife	Standard survival blade. Useful to a limited extent as a weapon.	knife
Thermoblade	Cooks small organisms for immediate consumption. Useful to a limited extent as a weapon. Deals heat damage on top of physical damage.	heatblade
