It is used to mine resources from large resource deposits, and will automatically place them in the storage compartment on its back. It can also be used to destroy the boulders that Floaters can be found on, though there is no reward for this. It is also able to damage fauna; it deals less damage than the default arm, but has improved hit rate and considerably wider auto-tracking.
