Spike Trap

Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Spike Trap is a life form belonging to the flora of Subnautica. Though it seems to act as an animal would, it is listed as a plant on an official picture released by the developers.

Appearance

The Spike Trap consists of a cross-shaped base on the ground that has a cross-shaped mouth at its center. However, the cross-shaped mouth is diagonal to the platform.

From the ends of the mouth, a total of six feelers extend upwards, with two pairs of feelers on the one side and a pair of single feelers on the other side. The center of the mouth features a rectangle of small, sharp teeth.

The ends of the feelers are covered with a shell on top and have small spikes on their surface.

The end of each arm is red, except for a yellow suction cup. The mouth is also red inside.

The arms and the center of the base are of a greyish white, while the base ends are of a yellow color.
