As its name implies, this area is very sparse and is home to a few types of small fauna and flora. It also houses it's own cave system, the Deep Sparse Reef.

Description

The Sparse Reef is composed of relatively flat areas covered by green mounds, scattered with Brain Coral, as well as large fissures where most of the bioluminescent flora inhabit, notably the Eye Stalks.

There are also spire-like structures found along the border of the Sparse Reef next to the Grassy Plateaus, under the Floating Island and near the Grand Reef.

The only dangers in the Sparse Reef are Bleeders and Tiger Plants, which are mainly found in the deeper parts of the biome.
