Carrying multiple oxygen tanks will increase your survivable exposure time in hostile environments.
― PDA, Dialogue

The Standard O2 Tank is a crafted piece of Equipment which boosts the player's Oxygen supply by 30 units. The player has an equipment slot just for the Standard O2 Tank, freeing up space in their Inventory.
The player can carry multiple Standard O2 Tanks at a time in their inventory. Additional Standard O2 Tanks carried in the player's inventory will extend your oxygen supply, but will take up four slots (2x2) in the player's Inventory and slow the player down.
