It cuts damage by 50%, increases heat resistance from fifty degrees to seventy degrees and deflects Tiger Plant spikes, whilst reducing swim speed by 0.95 m/s. It can be crafted using the Fabricator. The fragments can be found in Wrecks and around the Mountains. The Reinforced Dive Suit parts must be placed in the body slot of the paperdoll UI to take effect. When not worn it takes up four spaces in the inventory.

Future Plans

The Reinforced Suit was intended to have gloves but they were overlooked in the update that reintroduced the Suit to the game. The gloves, which can be seen on the Sketchfab model but are not present in game may be implemented in the future though this is uncertain.

Trivia

• This suit's protection from heat up to 70 degrees is still not enough to fully protect players getting close to lava in the Inactive Lava Zone and Active Lava Zone, where the temperatures can go to upwards of 90 degrees.
