Carrying multiple oxygen tanks will increase your survivable exposure time in hostile environments.

The O2 Tank is a crafted piece of Equipment which boosts the player's Oxygen supply by 30 units. The player has an equipment slot just for the O2 Tank, freeing up space in their Inventory.

The player can carry multiple O2 Tanks at a time in their inventory. Additional O2 Tanks carried in the player's inventory will extend your oxygen supply, but will take up four slots (2x2) in the player's Inventory and slow the player down.

By using the Modification Station, the O2 Tank can be upgraded to High Capacity Tank or the lighter model, Plasteel Tank.
