The Stasis Rifle is a crafted tool that can be crafted with the Fabricator.
Recipe
Note: The Stasis Rifle Blueprint must be acquired from the Fragment Analyzer.
Uses
The Stasis Rifle barrel rotates and fires off a large circular particle effect. Any creature that enters the bubble it creates will be frozen until the effect ends. The Stasis Rifle can be charged to release larger blasts that lasts longer. Without charging the Stasis Rifle will use less than 1% of its Energy per shot. However, fully charged shots will use up 5%. There is a small indicator on the Stasis Rifle that shows how charged it is.
Although the Stasis Rifle freezes many fish and some of the dangerous creatures in the game it does not freeze all creatures. As of February 26, 2015, players will still be attacked by the Crash and possibly many other dangerous creatures.
