Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Boneshark is an aggressive life form belonging to the fauna category.
It is an actively fierce predator and mainly dwells in the Underwater Islands.
Appearance
The Boneshark is a medium-sized, armored creature with a large head featuring spikes extending backwards from many sides of its head, and a long, armoured body.
Its head features a large mouth full of small, razor-sharp teeth and two bioluminescent green eyes.
It has two spiked pectoral fins and flukes at the end of its tail. It is of a dull purple color, with orange patterns on its head and back.
Behavior
The Boneshark is carnivorous, so one can be seen chasing other smaller fish, such as Peepers. It is also hostile, as the creature can be seen attacking the others, including the player. Once the player is spotted, it will follow them until they outswim its charge.
The Boneshark's attack causes minor damage (3%) to the Seamoth.
It is also attracted to lights, as the Cyclops is able to draw in the creature's attention. Because of this, the creature can also be distracted using flares.
The Boneshark can be seen fiercely guarding it's eggs, and will attack the player if they should get too close.
Data Entry
A powerful predator that lives in packs and fiercely defends its hunting grounds
-Thickly armored exoskeleton suggests defensive adaption either to larger species or in-species aggression
-Large eyeballs consistent with high light sensitivity, likely for hunting of luminescent prey in low-light environments
-Generally slow and unresponsive, they will act with uncromprimising aggression against any threat to their nesting grounds
